I was born in 1965 the eldest son of native Kilbeggan parents Sean and Mary Daly. I began my education at my local primary school of Kilbeggan and then moved onto Secondary School in Kilbeggan also, where I would later return as a teacher. From Kilbeggan I went to continue my studies in Thomond College, which is now the University of Limerick. There I got my honours degree in a Bachelor of Technology in Education. With this I was able to come back to Kilbeggan and tutor for FAS courses and also teach in my Alma Mater until 1995. It was then when I left to become manager of Midland Cladding and Steel services where I still am until this day.
